A Place of Belonging, Support, and Hope for Women and Families

Josephine Centre Foundation is a community-based non-profit organization located in Edmonton, Alberta. We are dedicated to promoting the well-being, empowerment, and personal growth of women, children, and families, particularly immigrants, newcomers, and individuals facing challenging circumstances.

Through our community support, solidarity, educational, and empowerment programs, we create opportunities for meaningful connections, mutual assistance, and personal development.

We believe that everyone deserves to be welcomed with dignity, respect, and compassion, and that every family should have the opportunity to feel connected and valued within their community.

Our Story: Rooted in Compassion, Inspired by Community

Josephine Centre Foundation was born from a simple belief: no one should have to face life's challenges alone.

Recognizing the difficulties experienced by many families, particularly newcomers, expectant mothers, young parents, and individuals facing financial or social challenges, the idea of creating a welcoming community space for support and connection began to take shape.

Our commitment is built on listening, sharing, and connecting people who need support with those who wish to contribute to the health and well-being of their community.

Through our free collection and distribution initiatives, women's empowerment activities, and educational and community programs, we seek to provide practical responses to the everyday needs of families.

Today, Josephine Centre Foundation continues to pursue this vision: transforming acts of kindness into opportunities for empowerment, dignity, and hope.

Our Motto

"Together, we build stronger families and more connected communities."

Supporting. Empowering. Transforming Lives.
